Terms of Service

Last updated: March 4, 2026

PromptUI operates this service. These terms describe the product, billing, and acceptable-use rules for this site.

These Terms apply to PromptUI and PromptUI Growth Agent. PromptUI Growth Agent is the social publishing and GTM workspace inside PromptUI.

TL;DR — Plain English Summary

  • ✅ You own your prompts and all code generated for you.
  • ✅ Generated code is AI-produced — review it before deploying to production.
  • ✅ Credit-metered builds reserve credits; a recorded build deposit is returned when a system failure prevents a usable build.
  • ✅ Unlimited app builds do not consume build credits and are subject to fair-use queue pacing.
  • ✅ Don't use PromptUI to generate malicious code — violators get banned.
  • ✅ We depend on third-party services (OpenRouter, Vercel, Stripe) for delivery.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PromptUI, including PromptUI Growth Agent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PromptUI is an AI-powered application builder that generates code from natural language prompts. PromptUI Growth Agent is the social publishing and go-to-market workspace inside PromptUI. The Service uses third-party AI models (via OpenRouter and other providers) to generate, review, publish, and deploy content or code on your behalf.

3. AI-Generated Content

  • Code and content generated by the Service is produced by AI models and is provided "as is" without warranty of correctness, security, or fitness for any purpose.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all AI-generated code before use in production environments.
  • PromptUI does not guarantee that generated code is free from bugs, vulnerabilities, or intellectual property issues.
  • You retain ownership of the prompts you provide and the code generated for you.

3a. Sharing, Showcasing & Community Builds

  • Your builds are private by default. Publishing a build creates a public share link; anyone with the link can view and use the running app.
  • Publishing does not make your build a template: other users cannot view its source code or remix it unless you separately mark it as a community build.
  • If you mark a build as a community build, you grant PromptUI and its users a non-exclusive license to view its source and create derivative builds ("remixes") on the Service.
  • For builds you publish, you grant PromptUI a non-exclusive license to display the build (including screenshots and its title) in the Service's galleries and reasonable marketing of the Service. This license ends when you unpublish the build.
  • You can unpublish a build (and withdraw community sharing) at any time, on any plan, from its share page or the builder. Remixes created while sharing was active are not retroactively deleted.

4. Account & Authentication

You must create an account (via Clerk authentication) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

5. Credits & Payments

  • The Service offers credit-metered plans and subscriptions. Signup includes 75 credits; additional plan allowances and top-ups can be purchased through Stripe.
  • On Unlimited, app builds do not consume credits. Your builds run one at a time. If an account sends unusually many automated builds in one day, later builds may wait in a short queue. Guardian monitoring and eligible repairs are included. Deployments, Growth Agent work, and other extras use the plan's 100 included monthly credits or additional credits at their displayed rates. A standard deployment currently costs 25 credits.
  • Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion (e.g., system failure during session).
  • We reserve the right to change pricing and credit allocations at any time with reasonable notice.
  • If a system failure prevents a usable credit-metered build, the recorded build deposit is automatically returned to your account. Failed chargeable deployment and Guardian-repair operations follow their separately displayed credit-return rules.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal. Existing credits remain available until used; cancellation does not reset purchased or previously granted credits.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate malicious code, malware, or content that violates any laws.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit systems, or security measures.
  • Abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
  • Use automated tools to excessively access the Service beyond normal usage.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptUI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages from AI-generated code deployed in production.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party providers (OpenRouter, Vercel, Supabase, Stripe) and may be affected by their outages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
