I want a dark instrument-panel look: deep slate (never pure black), a single amber accent, big tabular numerals, and a subtle animation whenever the result changes. Put the converter front and center with a quick-presets row beneath it, a recent-conversions panel on the right that I can pin to, copy from, and restore, plus keyboard shortcuts (/ to focus, S to swap, C to copy, Enter to pin) and a high-precision toggle.
