You do not have to leave your coding agent to use PromptUI. Connect PromptUI once through the Model Context Protocol (MCP)—a shared way for an AI client to call outside tools—and Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor can work with the same PromptUI account and projects.
Four tools for building and publishing
build_appstarts an app build from your instruction.get_build_statuschecks progress and returns the preview or clarification link.list_buildsfinds recent PromptUI projects.deploy_apppublishes a completed app after explicit confirmation.
Four tools for content and growth
gtm_generate_contentcreates and saves a marketing draft.gtm_list_contentlists work by status, channel, or campaign.gtm_publish_contentpublishes one approved item after explicit confirmation.gtm_get_analyticsreads the current channel results available to PromptUI.
The growth tools use the same Brand Memory, content store, approval rules, channel connections, and analytics owners as the browser workspace. They do not create a second marketing lane.
What each subscription pays for
Your Codex or Claude subscription covers that coding agent within its plan limits. PromptUI operations still follow your PromptUI plan and credit balance. Connected platforms keep their own charges too: for example, advertising spend remains in the business’s Meta account.
Safety stays attached
PromptUI requires confirmation before a tool spends credits, publishes an app, or posts to an external channel. The growth tools are available only to plans that include Growth Agent access. Paid-ad campaign submission is not exposed as an MCP tool while its native PromptUI workflow is still completing external proof.
What works today
API-key connections work today in local Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor. A one-click hosted connector inside ChatGPT or claude.ai needs a PromptUI sign-in flow (OAuth) and directory packaging, so that is separate work rather than something this guide claims as live.
Use the PromptUI MCP setup guide for the current commands, tool list, plan boundary, and confirmation rules.
